Highly Visible & Hard-Wearing Stakes

High Quality Hardwood Pegs

At The Pegman, we manufacture and supply premium hardwood pegs for surveying, concreting and much more. Delivery is available throughout the Great Lakes region, from Blueys Beach to Charlotte Bay, as well as Wallis Lake and beyond.

Our pegs are fully dressed for splinter-free handling and they feature a prism tip, so you can easily drive them into dense ground. We offer all types of survey pegs and paint them completely white for greater visibility. If you would like to mark the pegs further, check out our survey supplies which include flagging tape and Dy-Mark spray paint.

Our team also produce steel cap pegs for concreters. The steel collar sits around 10mm from the top of the peg, so that when struck the peg mushrooms. This makes them stronger and easier to remove and reuse.

Hardwood Stakes & Pegs

Are your tomato plants constantly falling over? Maybe you need to secure the timber edging of a sandpit you’ve installed? Well, our hardwood stakes are your affordable solution! When in the ground, our stakes can last up to 25 years. This is because we use locally sourced hardwood that’s naturally resistant to termites and other pests. We also implement a H4 treatment (on our landscaping pegs only) for defence against rot.

If you’re a landscaper, you can fulfil council requirements to protect new plants with tree guards—without breaking the bank. What’s more, if you’re a nursery owner or gardening enthusiast, you can keep your plants healthy and strong. It’s a win-win for all!

Contact us to enquire about our range. We offer standard sizing but can cut stakes to suit your measurements upon request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our deck spikes are produced from high-quality steel. You can use them to mark a wide range of hard surfaces, including concrete, grass or dirt areas. They’re also convenient for levelling change points.

Our hardwood pegs are bio-degradable, visually pleasing and hard-wearing, especially those reinforced with steel bands around the top. Whereas plastic pegs could potentially break down over time and create harmful microplastics, hardwood pegs are much more eco-friendly.

Absolutely you can! From car parks to sheet metal and bitumen roads, surveyors can use our galvanised clout nails to mark a variety of tough surfaces.
